IS THE LOCATION I AM CONSIDERING IN THE BEST AREA OF THE MARKET FOR MY BUSINESS?

Our market screening tools an answer this question in about three minutes.

  1. Select one of the Market Screening buttons from the home page (Screen Markets to Find Customers or Retail Areas).
  2. Select the "Customers" option if you are focused on learning whether to people living in the trade area around this location are good potential users of your concept. Select the "Retail Areas" option if you are interested in learning how much sales activity in your retail category is already taking place within the trade area --- or whether the nearby retailers have a synergistic fit with your retail concept.
  3. When you are uncertain about the location we recommend running several screening maps to help "paint" a clear picture.
  4. For local concepts, the best locations tend to have moderate to strong customer demand in the surrounding trade area and moderate to low current retail sales activity for your retail category. High sales activity may sound positive but this probably means there is already too much competition, unless you are a strong, major brand.
